On 64-bit Operating Systems running 32-bit software (e.g. Version Manager prior to release 8.6 ):
CMS-XML Expiring Certificate for Dimensions CM on August 9th 2014 - this will result in "PRG7700117E Error: Untrusted endorsing credentials" when logging into the Desktop Client
If your Dimensions installation satisfies all of the below conditions then on 9th August 2014 a certificate will expire and you will be unable to logon to the Dimensions CM Desktop Client, DMCLI, .NET or Eclipse. You will get an authentication error "PRG7700117E Error: Untrusted endorsing credentials". Note: This error will not occur in the web client .

This file is located under the <$TOMCAT>\webapps\inet_webhelp\webclienthelp\reportbuilder. 3. Copy the file from Step 2 into the directory created in Step 1, <$TOMCAT>\webapps\inet_webhelp\reports. 4 . Rename the file recently copied in Step 3 to new_mv_report.htm. 5. Now, log into the Web Client and the Help file should now appear when you attempt to create a multi-view report.
CMS-XML DMCM: Web Client does not correctly report connection problems
If connectivity between Tomcat and Dimensions Server is lost, or the Dimensions Server goes down, then during a login attempt, the user will get the following error message: "It was not possible to log you in at this time. The error message has been recorded (in stderr.log in default configurations)." However, if a user has an active session then no errors are reported wehn the connection is lost.

When logging into the web client , the preferences can be set and stored to be the default, so that other users can 'restore' those defaults. Occurrences have been noted with customer data where this did not work.
