Japanese-enablement of English Web Browsers In order to add Japanese-enablement to Netscape Navigator 4.0x it is necessary to first purchase or otherwise legally locate and install one or more Windows-compatible truetype Japanese font , e.g. MS Gothic, as mentioned in the paragraph above. After adding the font(s); within Netscape go to the Edit Menu, select Preferences, then Fonts. Select Japanese, and select an installed Japanese font as both the variable and fixed-width fonts.
