Problem: Tracker hangs after login.

The user would run Tracker 4.0 in Windows 95 and it would pop up with the login screen. Everything was correct (user id, database path, project name, etc.) so the user would choose 'OK' and the login screen would go away and nothing else would pop up. I had her hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and check to see if Tracker was still running.
