User installed Tracker INET on Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6x Web server . When user tries to restart the Web server, the above error message is displayed, NES will not start.

Customer moved all Tracker programs and data files to a new server . Relative path names stayed the same, only the drive letter changed. When the user next tried to log in into the server using Tracker Admin program, the user encountered an error message indicating that the Tracker Projects file could not be accessed.

and you never get the prepare server dialogue box. If you get this error, and you have successfully logged in to Tracker Admin on this Oracle server before, disregard the instructions below.

401.1 Unauthorized: Logon Failed This error indicates that the credentials passed to the server do not match the credentials required to log on to the server. Please contact the Web server's administrator to verify that you have permission to access the requested resource.

Using Tracker Inet with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and Netscape FastTrack Server 3.01 users can access all PVCS Tracker web pages but the following error message appears at regular intervals. Users are still able to submit scr's and use Tracker Inet.

If the preffered IIS Authentication method is NT CHALLENGE RESPONSE then the username you type in the dialogue box through your browser must also belong to an NT Group with Full Control to the relevant registry entries Reboot the server and you will be able to access Tracker Inet. Ronan Cunningham

This error occurs because the site being opened is configured to use a 'protected' port'. ... The SOCKS server may not be configured to use the following ports... ... If the client attempts to connect on any of the above ports, the proxy server will deny the connection and return the following error...
