CMS-XML VM Server 6.7.10 Logging
The default log setting for VM Server 6.7.10 causes logs to grow quickly. This results in large logs , adversely affecting performance, and in the worst cases , crashing VM Server or causing system to run out of disk space.

Work around is to be sure to log into windows using the same case that is used in the VM ACD. This defect was fixed in VM 8.2.1.0.

You may be experiencing this problem, even if you are entering the username with the same case in all PDBs you open. Having a case insensitive login source will cause VM to use the case of the username as it was first used to open that PDB. That is, if the first time you logged into your PDB as "ADMIN", subsequent logins using either "admin" or "Admin" will continue to use the account "ADMIN".

For Version Manager... environment variables, are case sensitive and will trap PCLI statements and return codes from the VCP (Version Control Provider) in the VMVCP log file. Both variables need to be set for the logging to work.
