to login when proxy mode is not in use (when DM_ROOT/dfs/listener.dat contains the -dont_use_proxy switch). The number of new non-cached names/arcs loaded into a private VRS store section that will trigger initial precaching/update of an existing store is could be adjusted by setting the following symbol in the CM server's dm.cfg:

CMS-XML KM-Dim9: Error: 'Could not query checksum information' when using Project Compare
Dimensions maintains a checksum for each file revision stored. Sometimes, as a result of "corrective scripting" or perhaps from using a migration tool, some files are loaded with a -1 which acts as a wildcard for the checksum. The project and workset compare functions require an actual checksum to perform their work and thus this error message is generated:
CMS-XML 12.2.2 / Windows 2008 => DMPOOL Error : StartUsrProcessEx/LoadUserProfile: Failed to load user profile. (2: The system cannot find the file specified.
The solution was to backup all data in “%SystemDrive%\Users\UserName” or just rename the folder with .bak at the end. (if this is the first time you try to logon with this account there will be no folder with this username.). Then start the registry editor and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ ProfileList here you will find all user SID’s logged on to this RDS server.
