Base Database exports contain $GENERIC product , lifecycles, attribute definitions, update rules, roles and other control plan information. They do not include item revisions, worksets, baselines, users or change documents.

A full system export is a copy of all of the data in the Oracle database, including all base databases. A basedatabase export is just the data from one specific basedatabase. A control plan export is just the an export of the configuration of a given product through the use of the DMDBA tool.
