Re-install Dimensions Inet component from CD1 on the Dimensions 6.0 WIN NT Server. Do not attempt via a telnet type session. When prompted choose default for Oracle_Home as oracle8i (not Dimensions), then select re-install Inet.
By using Process Monitor, and filtering the output on the dmappsrv.exe process, we were able to see that it was looking for files and registry settings associated with Dimensions CM 2009R1. Once the registry entry was found and removed the Dimensions listener started properly and the users could connect.
