CMS-XML Dim CM 2009 R2.02: Removing state from lifecycle does not clean up old transitions and causes unique constraint violations
An off-normal transition was also defined from A to D. In the Admin Console delete state C. The operation works. Then delete state B. No error is reported, but when you attempt to create an object using the lifecycle, for example a Request, an Oracle error is generated indicating a unique constraint violation on PENDING_ACTIONS_K1. Dimensions has correctly added the new normal transition from A=>D, but it has not deleted the original off-normal transition.

CMS-XML Dim CM 12.1.1.1: Off-normal state Items remain in Deployment Areas
In this example whenever new Items are created they get deployed automatically to the relevant area. Some Off-Normal states are added to the Lifecycle so that developers can"obsolete" some older revisions which are no longer required. However when the Items are actioned no change takes place in the Deployment Areas.
CMS-XML KM-Dim10: Reported Defect DEF105073: Issue Fixed in Dimensions 10.1.1: Pending user can only action request to next normal state in LC
With the privilege Request_Action_NextState and the request lifecycle defined such that the user has the role to action to the next state or an off-normal state or back to the preceding state , this should work, however, Dimensions is reporting the following Error: You do not have the 'Action to Any State' (REQUEST_ACTION_ANYSTATE) privilege to perform this operation.
CMS-XML Dim10: 1019 - DBIO: Oracle Error occurred SQL-0304 (22034) ORA-00001: Unique constraint (pcms.pending_actions_k1) violated.
One cause of this is incorrect data somewhere in the role assignments, object type definitions or lifecycle definitions. For example once in a while a control plan will indicate a transition from the same lifecycle state to the same other lifecycle state with one transition defined as NORMAL and a second defined as off-normal . In some instances, the problem can also be seen with the lifecycle of the Item Type or Request Type within Admin Console . ... from life_cycles life ... from life_cycles life

CMS-XML Dim CM 2009 R2: Actioning project does not put project into inbox of users with next state role
When actioning a project to the next state, the project does not appear in the inbox of those users with the role for the next state. Below are the steps to reproduce this problem: - 1) Set up a project lifecycle as detailed in the attachment with the following states: OPEN ---> DEVELOPMENT ---> FREEZE ---> CLOSED as normal transitions, and OPEN ---> CANCELLED and DEVELOPMENT ---> DEVELOPMENT as off-normal .
