notall native drivers are multi-threaded. Crystal Reports 8.5 has thread safe native and OLEDB drivers, for a complete list see the Release Notes on the Crystal Reports 8.5 CD. Requests made using ODBC to the database will not be queued or marshaled. Therefore ensuring a connection is made without having to wait for initial requests to be fulfilled by the database.
