The version of Java you run depends on your operating system and IE. Users with a 64-bit operating system, can use IE 64-bit and Java 64-bit. As an alternative, they could choose to use IE 32-bit and Java 32-bit. Users with a 32-bit operating system, must use IE 32-bit and Java 32-bit.
This has been reported to Development. Users will have the choice to NOT block the components and the application should function normally. Another workaround is to back out the update and use an older version of the Java plugin.
Paste the following text into the Runtime Parameters box for any Java Versions in step 3. -Xmx512m This raises the limit of memory from the default 128mb or ram the jave applet uses to 512mb or whatever value you specify.
This has been linked to a problem with the JVM install rather than with PM itself. Try removing all old version of the JVM that are installed on this box. Then, do a fresh install of only the desired version .
