Windows: There is a command called Fsuitl that can be used to achieve this. To create a 12000 byte file called file.out, use this command from the command line:

After upgrading to Mover 2.3.0.4 users get the following error when trying to run the packagestatus.bat file supplied in the Mover Users Guide "The syntax of the command is incorrect." This is a regression as the same process runs fine in versions of Mover before 2.3.0.4.

Go to the Deploy | Setup | Source area Edit the Version Manager source you are working with. Go to the Deploy Files tab.

How to change the log level in Mover and where to find the log file ?
Login with Admin permissions, select System tab. At System tab, choose SetUp from the menu , select "Sessions & Servers" view, then click "Log SetUp" icon at the top tool bar . At the "Log Setup" pop up window, identify the log modules from the list which you wish to change the log level, and change to your expected level.
