After applying service packs or hot fixes to MS SQL Server, the permissions on the Report and ReportServer virtual directories have the Anonymous Access permission removed. After running these updates, open the properties in IIS Manager for the Reports and ReportServer virtual directories. On the Directory Security tab, click the Edit button and make sure Anonymous Access is enabled.
