This despite the fact that superjoe is a member of the group which has been granted a license reservation in the merant.opt The get_concurrent_usage.bat doesn't throw any error messages and shows that a reservation is in place for a group of users.

If Host IPS is installed, briefly disable it and retest. Should this solve the issue, check with your UNIX admin if the server has the correct group membership related to this application and correct as needed. If that does not solve the issue, contact McAfee to have them investigate and resolve the failure.
CMS-XML Product installation fails unexpectedly on Windows, claiming the user has interrupted the operation
Ensure that the user/ group that launches the installation package have been granted the "Impersonate a client after authentication" privilege. This is configured through the operating system Local Security Policy in the "User Right Assignment" section. The machine will need to be reboot for changes to take effect.
