In some instances the help is not available in the System Administrator or Composer when installed on a 64 bit machine.
CMS-XML JBoss Server Does Not Shut Down after Stopping JBoss Service
The JBoss service mechanism was changed in SBM 2009R4.X to support 64-bit machines. It has been reported that this mechanism can sometimes leave the JBoss server running even after the controlling Windows service has been stopped. Serena believes this problem could be caused by the service user not having the correct Windows authorizations, but have been unable to confirm this.
CMS-XML SBM Connect for SharePoint Help is not accessible
The system cannot find the file specified. Error: The file serena_sharepoint_solution_help is not installed To work around this problem, copy the readme file (readme_serena_sharepoint_solution.htm) from the package to the SharePoint folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\Serena) and rename the file to "serena_sharepoint_solution_help".
CMS-XML Unable to retrieve log messages from the BPEL Server
If you see a message that Composer or the Application Repository user interface were unable to retrieve messages from the BPEL Server, this may be caused by a locale problem. There is currently no workaround, other than to enable logging of those Common Log entries to a file, in addition to the CL database. When you click on "Get sample data", you will see error: The supplied URL does nto appear to point to a supported service. The server returned Html content when JSON or XML was expected.
CMS-XML Upgrade to SBM 10.1+ sometimes fails to create new columns in notification server tables
To get the notification server running in this situation, please contact Serena support for a SQL script to get the necessary database columns created.
