Once a self signed certificate is added to the Security - SSL Integrations section in configurator you can not over write it again later using Configurator.
"This could be due to the fact that the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in the HTTPS case. This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and the server."
The SSL certificate that SBM is using is either missing or out of date. You can verify with certificate is being used by checking the System Administrator under Options | Settings, on the SSL tab.
If you have a custom certificate provided by a local authority then once you apply it to IIS via configurator UI it works fine but.... Any subsquent changes to configurator come back with an error within the configurator dialog "Error while applying IIS SSL settings" once they are applied. The logs stated "A specified login session does not exist.
server.https.port IMPORTANT: This file is regenerated every time that the configurator has changes applied so will need to redone each time you need to do this. (2) Generate a new certificate and include the internal server name and well as the external one too.
In Configurator, on the Component Server view, for the Application Engine (AE) component, uncheck the HTTP option so only the HTTPS option is checked. However, for this to work correctly, the AE host name must also match the "Issued To" name of the certificate in Configurator on the IIS Server view.
