When creating requests using PDIFF (Tracker migration ) it is sometimes not possible to enter/edit the detailed description. The command completes without errors and the history is updated but the description never arrives in dm_dbfiles.
It is a database. This database stores info about already migrated items. If this step is skipped no items should be created if run migration next time.
When migrating VM projects with Cyrillic names the migration logs might show errors even when the migration was successful. In this case the migration logs need to be checked manually.
The invalid characters can exist either in the Project (Directory) name or the archive name. The data is properly migrated with the special characters into Dimensions but we are unable to perform the official auditing of the revision count on the items. Workaround: There is a workaround if the invalid characters are in the Project (Directory) name.
