CMS-XML Dashboard opens but all graphs give "Error attaching to Reporting Server: NAME"
The users are able to log into Dashboard and the UI draws, but all of the graphs give: Error attaching to Reporting Server: NAME The reporting server may not be running or may not be properly defined in the Client Communication Configuration file.
CMS-XML Dashboard opens but all graphs give error 404 Cannot display the webpage (in IE) and Unable to connect (in Firefox)
The users are able to log into Dashboard and the UI draws, but all of the graphs give an error. Also, the graphs render correctly from the server but not from the client.
CMS-XML Login screen does not open and the Dashboard shows error "File Not Found"
Follow this document if the Dashboard login screen does not open and if the entire Dashboard screen gives error "File Not Found". NOTE: If you can log into the Dashboard but one or more of the graphs give error "File Not Found" follow KB S138383 .

To verify, start the WebConsole ( http://localhost:8121 ) and click on Workspace | Configuration/Monitor. Under Logs and Traces double-click on Workspace Logs . Open the edaprint. log (by double-clicking) and look for JSCOM3 errors.

The log at Program Files\Common\tomcat\6.0\ logs \alm. log will have an "Invalid User ID or Password" exception such as:

Review the logs . The JavaVM libraries should load.
