What is a "SUNSET DATE" ?
|
"Sunset", or end-of-maintenance, refers to the last date that new fixes will be created in a specific version. It is Serena policy to provide maintenance for at least 12 months after the announcement of a new release. (Fixes are typically provided for high severity problems while circumventions are typical for lower severity problems.) It does not mean that help is unavailable after this date.

Our market has historically been testing. That market would insist on choosing the point in time. Casual users would probably not be so picky and would arbitrarily choose the last backup as the point in time .
