The information in the SER10TY 3.1 User Guide has lots of steps and documentation. What is the minimum amount needed to do to get an XML-formatted license installed?
CPX 8.4.x expects the SERtificates to be created using SER10TY 2.4.1 with a link date of 07/2001. If the SERtificates are generated using any other version of SER10TY, the tampering bit will be set and any subsequent comparisons will run without any differences being noted.
Because the licensing module LICUPDAT resides in the Comparex LOAD library (CPXLOAD), the CPXLOAD will need to be APF authorzied ONLY if the following conditions exist. Further information on LICUPDAT authorization can be found in the SER10TY User's Guide under section 'APL LIST'.
