On the Reject screen, you can choose the option for "Discard task". This basically tells Collage "never mind, I didn't want this task". The task will then be removed from you inbox , and is no longer an active task.

Using the task management feature in Collage, users can manage and track all of their tasks. Once a task is created to which a user is assigned, that user can quickly access the task and its associated assets from the Inbox in Collage.
Manual notification Any user can send another user a manual notification, to report information about a task. Collage sends all notifications to users' Home | Inbox view, and can optionally send e-mail versions of the notifications as well. For information on setting up e-mail notification, see "How to Set Task Management Options for a Project" on page 202.
