Second, ideally you should test if a backup works every time a backup is done. In other words, do a restore to see if it can be restored . If it is not feasible to do that every day, then perhaps once a week would be good practice.

MCLG: Asset shows as checked out, but when try to check it in, get message saying it is not checked out. Or, check out user cannot see the asset. (half checked out)

1) This will require us to modify the database itself, so I would strongly recommend doing a project backup first. This is just in case something goes wrong, in case we need to restore back to the backup.
