In Collage 4.6 and earlier a user was assumed to have no privileges unless explicitly granted, either at user level or at a group level. Collage 5.1 changes this behavior, granting all privileges to a user unless explicitly denied at a user level. This leads to unauthorized access to assets.

In previous versions of Collage, you could set the LDAP Group Filter to narrow down the list of groups displayed on the System | Users and Groups | Groups screen. However, all of the users in the LDAP Root still showed on the User screen. Beginning in Collage 5.1.0.7, you can limit the list of users as well.

The configuration options can be accessed through the UI under System | Users and Groups | LDAP Setup or by editing the file <Collage_Install>\servlet\WEB-INF\ldapsetup.properties file. However, if you edit the ldapsetup.properties file, Collage must be restarted for the changed to take affect.
