How to resolve Tomcat port conflicts when VM I-Net and/or Dimensions I-Net and/or Collage and/or Mover are installed on the same server
CMS-XML MCLG 4.0+: When Tomcat starts, error ''FATAL:java.net.BindException: Address in use: JVM_Bind'' is displayed in the command window
VM I-Net, Dimensions I-Net, Collage, and Mover all use the Tomcat Application Server to render their UI. If two or more of these are installed on the same server, the Tomcat installations will attempt to use some of the same ports. KB #70240 will explain how to correct these conflicts. Although this document is specifically looking at Merant applications that use Tomcat, it can also be useful when correcting port conflicts with other Tomcat applications.
