Open "Internet Options" in Internet Explorer and on the General tab click the "Settings" button in the "Browsing History" section then click "View Objects". Scroll through the list and see if you see a file called PopupMenu.dll. If so, try deleting it.

Click the Document Type file that will be changed so the Definition File, Edit Layout File, and Deploy Layout Files can be seen. Click the arrow next to the layout file that is to be changed, and click the "Select new File " option from the context menu . Select the new layout file to use.

Look at the general properties tab to get the assetid for this asset. The only way I could get this file to check out was to go into the database via the sql command window. type select * from assetversion where assetid=xxx (xxx is the assetid)
