To edit Collage assets via the Web Development and Versioning (WebDAV) interface, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and UltraDev must connect to the Collage Server using an HTTP version 1.0 port. Because the Tomcat application server which is included with Collage no longer uses HTTP version 1.0 for Solaris or Linux, the HTTP 1.0 connection is provided via a separate port rather than the main Tomcat port. For Windows this is not an issue since the HTTP 1.0 port is enabled by default.

If the actual application can convert the file without error messages but Collage still gives this 500 error , go to http://<collage_server>/PDFConverterServlet/pdfservlet, where <collage_server> is the server and port number used to access Collage. This is a test screen that will allow you to convert the document outside of Collage.
