CMN ZMF Web Services Sample Code

Serena provides 2 flavors of ZMF web services; the 'base' web services and the ZMF Connector. The examples attached to this document are for 'base' web services.

All participating packages removed when adding new one to complex
|
Using the ZMF4ECL interface, when a user attempts to attach a new participating package to a complex package that already contains one or more frozen participating packages, then all participating packages will be deleted from the complex package. When the package list is displayed the frozen package will issue a message similar to the following:

No CMN1110A message when attempting to add a PART Pkg to multiple CMPLX Pkg's.
|
In ZMF ISPF when you try and add a participating package that has already been linked to a Complex package you get a CMN1110A message and the participating package is not attached to the second complex package. However, if you try and do this in ZMF4ECL the participating package is added to the second Complex package and no CMN1110A message is issued which is not correct.

a) When creating a new super or complex package: - when using shorthand notation for the attached participating packages these are not expanded on the displayed window. - HLLX PCRE0108 is called with partPackageName.0 = 0, indicating no participating packages have been attached, even when they have been supplied.
