This article applies to all users of ChangeMan ZMF Web Services running version 7.1.3.01 and later. Customers installing the base product web services distributed in the zmfws.war
In the 8.2+ releases of the ChangeMan ZMF-related products and user interfaces Micro Focus have implemented some changes to the way in which specific functions are executed. This has resulted in us planning to add the following section to our existing ChangeMan Client Pack (i.e. ChangeMan ZDD and ChangeMan ZMF4ECL) documentation in the near future:
- Now B logs on to same Citrix. As soon as he logs on, the application focus is automatically adjusted by the product to application BCD (e.g. the application for which B has Update rights)
When running any Serena mainframe product that uses SER10TY 4.x (i.e. XML) license keys, users are liable to see the following warning messages: LIC0028W System capacity (nnn MSU) exceeds limit for <product> license (nnn MSU), within warning range. LIC0049W <product> allowed to continue with license validation errors.
Within both client pack products we provide inconsistent support for the ZMF Vnn variables, V01-V10. These are 10 variables, five x 8 byte and five x 72 byte, which are provided by the base ZMF product and designed to pass custom information from the user to the generated batch process.
