The nature of the bug is such that secure connections to a server are vulnerable to potential bleeding of somewhat random server memory into a response to a client. You can define any suitable JESSPOOL profile that covers the started task output with a universal access of UPDATE. For example, the following would secure all of the output files produced by the started task user ID.

This issue was caused by McAfee anti-virus firewall blocking the ports used for ZMF4ECL notifications. A quick test to determine if this is your issue, is to turn off firewall protection on the affected PC, temporarily.

Path for ZDDOPTS SAMPLE members cannot be overridden in the installer.
While installing ZMF4ECL, the default path for the ZDDOPTS SAMPLE members is ‘C:\Program Files\Serena\ZMF\711\ZEclipse\zddopts’ and cannot be overridden. The customer's C drive is 'write' protected , so the install fails.
