The Migration Plan section of the ChangeMan® ZMF 5.3 Migration Guide: Version 5.2 To Version 5.3, has no reference to the PROMOTE4 Job. The DOC should be changed so that the steps for setting up the test environment, more closely matches the CONVERSION DAY SCRIPT , at least as far as the 'required' process are concerned.
This only happens when using the '.' (period) in the "TEXT Type" field in your COMPARE PROFILE, as in... TEXT Type ===> ._______ Changing the "TEXT Type" value from '.' (period) to REXX or JCL or SCRIPT allows the compare to work successfully.
