CMS-XML Documented HLLX point APRV0003 is not available
In ZMF 8.1.1 we apparently added and documented HLLX point APRV0003 to be invoked before ISPF panel CMNAPPLS. There are no obvious signs that it has been removed for any reason. However, it is not listed as a valid exit point in global admin panel CMNHLLMN (a.g.8.1 or a.g.8.a).
CMS-XML Why do some HLL exit points return the ‘shortMsg’ variable value to the panel and others do not?
The reason some HLL exit points returned the ‘shortMsg’ value and some do not is because any HLL exit taken by a service (ex: FREZ00XM – ‘X’ in second to last position in the name) cannot return a short message, but HLL exits taken by the client (ex: RVRT0101) can. Note: There are some inconsistencies with the way the short message is being handled by HLL exits taken by the service (‘X’ in second to last position of the internal name).
CMS-XML "Retain Checkout Details in Eclipse" checkbox should not be active for 'checkin' of a new component.
When a new component is checked into a package, the "Retain Checkout Details in Eclipse" is active and if checked, will create a new checkout record. The "Retain Checkout Details in Eclipse" box should only be active at checkin, when the component has been checked out first. Right clicking the component in the ZMF Checkouts tab and selecting 'checkin' from the menu will simply reactivate the component, rather than check it in again from the personal dataset, as expected.
