After deploying the ZMF 8.2 zmfws.war file (build 298) to a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) V7.0 using Java 6 environment, the version can be displayed in the expected manner:
The problem can be recreated using the supplied, sample NewConfig.vbs script. The same customer and sample scripts work well on the CMN ZDD 3.2.1 client. Running the java sample ends with the same error on the equivalent instruction:
" java .lang.NullPointerException" is issued when double clicking a non-PDS/PDSE item in Data Set tree. Right click and open with seem to work correctly.
