CMS-XML Need to provide AT-TLS connection option in base ZMF Web Services
However, several customers also host their own homegrown, ZMF web services(ZMFWS)-based applications. Looking at the web services there is no ‘secure logon’/TLS/ SSL option available. This functionality needs to be added so that custom applications can also exploit the benefits of AT-TLS security.

ZMF for Eclipse 8.2 Patch 3 has removed the dependency on ZMF Web Services. This simplifies the installation and configuration process as well the set-up process for SSL connections .
CMS-XML ZMF4ECL: Attempts to checkout from another package fail with CMN8490I
In ZMF 8.1.2 new functionality was added to the ISPF interface to allow users to fully checkout components directly from one package to another. This functionality was extended to ZMF4ECL in the 8.1.3 release of the client software. However, attempts to use this functionality from ZMF4ECL 8.1.3 when connected to a ZMF Server task running at 8.1.1.01 or lower will fail with the following error :

However, attempts to connect to a ZMF Server from the ZMF4ECL 8.2 client software (builds 422 & 423) fail with a (500)Internal Server Error . The log file associated with the WAS profile shows the following errors:

CMS-XML ZDD package filter window incorrectly displays 'Requestor name' instead of 'Creator'
In ZDD, if a ZMF Server – Application – Package filter is defined for an instance running a release lower than ZMF 8.1.1, we correctly display one of the available filter criteria as being the package ‘Creator:’. Attempting to define the same filter when connected to a ZMF 8.1.1 or higher release incorrectly displays the filter criteria as ‘Requestor name:’ or the value used to override that field in ISPF option A.G.9.
CMS-XML Potential userid regression if incorrect password entered once
If a user has ZMF package components checked out to a project/personal development library, they can use the ‘ChangeMan ZMF Checkin...’ option from the z/OS Projects perspective. If the user has also not already logged onto the ZMF system from the Serena perspective they will be prompted for their connection details. If the user types in the incorrect password at this point the initial checkin request fails but the password is stored somewhere that cannot be reset in this perspective.

In certain circumstances in a CITRIX type env there is an issue installing ZDD when some registry key entries and not copied. Please contact support and request the ZDD Registry Rebuild utility.

CMS-XML Enable TAG not being honoured when set to N
Go into RDz and select Window\Preferences\ZMF/Eclipse and then go into TRACE. Enable all options, then log off the ZMF connection in RDZ and re-connect again. When connecting to the ZMF instance you will informed of any validation errors . NB : Once you have identified all the XML errors and resolved them, then please disable the TRACE's.
