A customer is in the process of upgrading their ZMF environment (base and client pack) from 8.1.4.01 to 8.2 Patch 3. They transmit zip files from their Windows environment to datasets on MVS using the ZDD upload dataset functionality. These datasets are subsequently expanded and unzipped in their USS/zFS environment for use there.

A customer is upgrading from ZMF4ECL 8.1.4 to 8.2 Patch 2. During testing they noticed that one of the New Package Folder filter properties windows is missing. This is the fourth window in the overall New Package Folder process, and the third in editing the filter. It provides the ability to filter the list of packages based on component records, component types, component names, user IDs, schedulers and release IDs and is used by several teams within their organisation.
After upgrading an existing native eclipse system from a previous, ZMF4ECL 8.1.x build (322) to the 8.1.3 GA build (369) folders failed to display the expected contents. For example, clicking on an application’s ‘Package’ folder returned no packages.
A customer was upgrading from ZMF4ECL 7.1.3 to 8.1.2. After installing the new client attempts to promote a package in ZMF4ECL failed. After a user selected the ‘Promote...’ option on the package no response was received.

Customer's upgrading to RD/z 9.5.1 may experience issues when performing certain functions using the ZMF for Eclipse plug-in. IBM has changed or deprecated some of the APIs, causing the ZMF plug-in to issue errors and some processes will fail.
