CMS-XML Security within ZDD.
Many customers restrict users/developers changing settings on their machines and on XP/W2K they have users setup as a " Restricted User" now if a user logs onto the machine with these settings the ZosNet process fails to startup. The workaround to this is setup users to be a "Standard User" which is not acceptable as now they belong the the "Power Users Group" and can install and make setting changes.
CMS-XML LIC0028W and LIC0049W Warning Messages
When running any Serena mainframe product that uses SER10TY 4.x (i.e. XML) license keys, users are liable to see the following warning messages: LIC0028W System capacity (nnn MSU) exceeds limit for <product> license (nnn MSU), within warning range. LIC0049W <product> allowed to continue with license validation errors.
CMS-XML "Incorrect Function" repeatedly issued by wizard folder option
Customer's environment is NT-based but the problem can also be recreated on Windows 2000. The problem is limited to the wizard and can be circumvented by manually defining the folders in explorer.
