When running any Serena mainframe product that uses SER10TY 4.x (i. e . XML) license keys, users are liable to see the following warning messages: LIC0028W System capacity (nnn MSU) exceeds limit for <product> license (nnn MSU), within warning range. LIC0049W <product> allowed to continue with license validation errors.
When you code BuildProc and set the default to a valid Build Proc in the ZDDOPTS BUILD member, ZDD does not honour this value and uses the first in the List i. e CMNASM.
When submitting a ZMF build job within ZDD whilst changing the jobname to a non-default name (i. e ., a name which is not of the form USERID + 1 character) then the new format jobname is not retained for subsequent job submissions. It automatically reverts to the default model jobname for the next request.
If a package displays as frozen (FRZ) in the ZMF4ECL client and is subsequently reverted elsewhere ( e .g by a different user, in the ISPF interface, etc.) components can be edited in the ZMF4ECL session. That is to say that the Edit and Edit With... options are available when right-clicking on a SRC component and work OK. However, the Build option is not available until the package folder is refreshed and the package status updated.
