SSM V8.3 is scheduled to be released sometime after the first half of next year (2006) with support for z/OS 1.7. The expected impact to SSM in z/OS 1.7 will be support for the new TYPE=LARGE sequential files. Depending on your use of this new data set type, we may have to supply a tolerance patch for current SSM releases.
ChangeMan SSM Versions 8.3.x. are supported in a z/OS 1.9 environment. Regression testing did not encounter any issues with SSM functionality, additionally we have not had any customer reported environmental issues. In Addition:
