During generation of a Change Basket data set of changes for a production system, the fingerprint dataset compare part of the Extract/ Export process works fine, but then several of the libraries get an SVC99 dynamic allocation error, RC=0210.
If you create a UNIX file which is greater than 44 characters which is HFS tracked in SSM when you make updates to this file and the updates are written to the DETECT LOG the update records get truncated and affect the next lines in the report for the VOLSER. See below example:
The //HPSWORK2 DD specification is a temporary data set, only used for member-level synchronization of members with non-standard member names (IMS). It is used during EXPORT , IMPORT, or while creating a Reverse Basket data set.
It appears that the data set that stopped the EXPORT processing was an invalid data set. Once excluded from the process, EXPORT process ran successfully. See attachment for proposed changes to EXPORT processing step, for the next maintenance release of SSM.
