No batch JCL gets generated, when trying to recover a "delta tracked" member. Both methods return the results back to the screen, with the option to keep the results in a temporary data set.

During DEFINEDS, when multiple subparameters specified on same line, syntax violation does not occur. Example: SIMULATE=N is requested and specified as same line with DELTA=Y. No syntax violation occurs and SIMULATE=Y is used.

Connection refused generally means that the Server did not accept the connect- request . Or, it could be that the Server has not successfully started yet.

CMS-XML SSM823 Getting several HPS0179E messages during a DEFINEDS processing resulting in RC=16
This is due to an undocumented "feature" (put into the product about ten years ago!) that says that if a given run gets more than five Errors ("E" messages), issue a rc=16. Please open a defect request on the Customer's behalf to change the HPS0179E message to a Warning. That should fix it.
