The SSM R&D group had developed a fix for this reported problem, which consists of two replacement load modules (HPSDSFTP and HPSDSFTL), both which have an eye-catcher date of 05/14/08. The additional module change was required for HPSDSFTL since it has code in the same area to support CSCT MASKing.
To obtain this fix , please contact SSM Technical Support. The fix number is SSM83208. This fix contains two replacement load modules (HPSDSFTP and HPFDSFTL), both with an eye-catcher date of 05/20/08.

Resolution Update – 07/15/2009: This problem is now also addressed in SSM V8.3.2 Cumulative Patch Package Number SSM83226. This Patch (P2516) can be found on our Knowledge Database, which was made available on 07/15/2009.
The SSM R&D team has developed a fix for this problem. This is a single replacement load module for HPSSERV (eye-catcher date: 1 /15/08). This will address the problem reported in SSM V831 where the data sets scheduled to be scratched were not deleting.
