In connecting to the main page on ECP 3.1, I get a content type error. I connected fine previously on ChangeXpress. Is there anything I need to change ?
The problem is that the IP address in this link is not always enough. If other software is using the default port (IIS for example) and the ECP port has been changed from 80 to something else, the above link will not work. The link should contain the port number and either be configurable by the customer or set to pick up a change in port.
This is supposed to be the IP address of the ChangeMan ECP server. If there is a firewall in between the two servers, however, you may need to change the IP address in this field. It may be necessary to put the external firewall IP address instead of the ECP server address.
3. Select the Applications tab, Select the SerConnect application, and click Properties...the SerConnect Properties dialog appears 4. Select the Security tab and select the individual "Use custom access permissions" radio buttons and the corresponding Edit button and add the "Everyone" name to the list 5. Click on Apply and OK in the SerConnect Properties dialog
Package searches in ChangeMan ECP are different than searches in Change Man ZMF. They allow you to look for multiple applications at one time, and so are more flexible. With this flexibility comes the necessity to limit the searches with wildcards.
Customer is not getting email notification via ECP when a mainframe package is frozen. The notification is being sent from Change Man ZMF to ECP, but the notification agent is not routing it to the SMTP server.
