Releases are created from baselines , and also make use of templates created by the administrator to filter the files to be included . The filters are based on item types, which would allow you, for example, to release executables and documentation files, but not source code.

Synchronize files of same version should not prompt for Overwrite or Merge
|
If developer-1 checks out a file and developer-2 checks out the same file, makes changes and checks the file into baseline , when developer-1 synchronizes to the production area to get the changes released by developer-2 (where the version numbers in the production area are higher than the versions currently in the developer’s local dev area), selecting Overwrite or Overwrite All is overwriting the ‘CHECKED OUT’ file. Developer-1's work is lost which should not be allowed.

Make procedure does not complete, unable to execute implementation scripts

The target files get copied to a baseline area and versioned. However, when the target files get moved to the target baseline area there is a need to execute an implementation script for each file. This script is intended to add the file to a deployment release but this hangs.
