On the client machines they will need to setup a System Environment variable “MERANT_LICENSE_FILE” and set that to also be the Host ID of the License Server machine (ie. @OR-NAML).

Any client workstation from which you intend to connect to Builder will have installed the Command Line Client software. An environment variable by the name of MERANT_LICENSE_FILE is created and its value by default is the same http link as in the license.ini file.
Catalyst made a fix to one of our perl modules that was preventing the smtp parameter from being passed through properly in omemail. Unzip the attached zip file (renamed to .abc) to the root of the client install. The library will be correctly placed in the required sub directory.
You can install the command-line client using the Merant Build CD. You can install the command-line client using the "Install Client " link on the Merant Build standalone web client home page.
