Following the installation and correct configuration of Agile and SQL Server the following error was generated when attempting to connect to Agile Administrator: "Login Failed: Unable to connect to the database"
The time on the SQL Server housing the reporting services databases is more than one minute out of synchronization from the SQL Reporting Services server. The report being run is sufficiently complex as to take more time to complete than SQL Reporting Services allows in its timeout setting.
Open SQL Server Management Studio, and browse to the Agile database. Click the New Query button on the toolbar. When the window opens, make sure that the correct database is selected at the top in the dropdown box. Go to File | Open | File.
Upgrade Steps: Launch the Agile Administration tool, and note the information for each of the connections listed on the login screen. Because Agile 2009 only supports SQL Server 2005 and Agile 2010 only supports SQL Server 2008, perform these database steps:
