The ItemManagement Web service operations GetWorkItemChangesForTransaction and GetWorkItem return the User's first and last name for Resource type attributes. This prevents the replication of these data type fields to other tools, which use the login ID, including SBM and the Agile Connector.
Can't delete the default users (e.g. Executive Edward)? Everytime I try to delete them, it states that they are still assigned to resources. A workaround for this would be to just rename the default users to one of your own users and mark the user as active.
If you look in the System Settings area where you define the Role permissions there is a tab for Resources. This tab should be removed from the UI. For one we don't use the resources module and for two even if you give a group/role every one of the permissions in the Resource tab and the users logs in they still don't see the Resources module.
The personal calendar for other users may be changed in the Resources module in the Resource Pool view. However, only a user with Administrator rights may access these views. If you do not have Admin rights, then you will not see the Workspace or Resource modules. You should then contact your Agile On Demand product Administrator to ask that they set your Personal Calendar accordingly.
