CMS-XML KM-Dim10: COR0005212E A revision of this Item is currently checked out. Multiple checkouts are not allowed in Project .
... For all Project types defined Option 3 ... For Item types Allow parallel check ... Check Out Item - 2254-Error: Item <Item ID ... Also, ensure the customer is not selecting a revision in status $TO_BE_DEFINED. ... The status $TO_BE_DEFINED means the revision is checked out and has not been returned yet. It still needs to be checked in to Dimensions to exist . ... You are not allowed to perform an extract item citing the revision that is already extracted (in state $TO_BE_DEFINED).
CMS-XML KM-Dim10: Delete Item - COR0005378E Error: You do not have the role to delete Item
User has the delete item privilege but the item type LifeCycle(LC) only has $Originator role. It appeared that only the user that generated the item has the role for the first lifecycle transition.
CMS-XML DimCM: COR0005652E Item does not have an IN RESPONSE TO revision in request
The files that need to be changed are checked-out against the change request meaning that Dimensions creates a relationship between the item revisions and the change request. The type of this relationship is "AFFECTED BY" meaning that the file revisions are affected by this change request.
CMS-XML DimCM 14: Build: COR0005189E Error: Could not find the Design Part to be used for role calculation for Item [ID]
and pid.variant = 'VARIANT' and pid.item_type = ' ITEM TYPE ' and pid.item_uid = pirp.item_uid;
CMS-XML Dim: COR0005355E Error: You are not allowed to action this Item as it is currently locked
The above error can occur when the item exists in multiple projects/streams and one of the project/stream are locked. The items will not be actionable or updateable from another project/stream unless the user has the role of PRODUCT-MANAGER for the item's product. For further details, see the Command-line Reference Guide and the command of LCK.
CMS-XML Dim 12.x / 14.x : not possible to browse an item from baseline view of desktop client, getting error : "Browse Item - COR7700246E You do not have the "Browse" (ITEM_BROWSE) privilege to perform this operation"
Whereas a Baseline is not really linked to a Project, the entry exists only in the history/pedigree records. Indeed, once the Baseline has been created the original Project or Stream could have been deleted and also the Items in a Baseline may not exist in the current Project which is why Dimensions has to use the Global Project to fetch the Baseline. Therefore the Baseline does not take roles from the Project, the same would apply actioning the Baseline.
CMS-XML Dim CM: COR0005355E Error: You are not allowed to action this Item as it is currently locked
new Dimensions items to the project/stream or the removal of existing item revisions that are in a locked project/stream (baselining is likely to occur in this state). In addition, items that exist in a locked project/stream will not be actionable or updateable from another project/stream unless the user has the role of PRODUCT-MANAGER for the item's product. Users with the PRODUCT-MANAGER role can create new items in a locked project."
CMS-XML DimCM: 14.5.x: DBI4502374E SQL-2289(39826) ORA-02289: sequence does not exist
DBI4502374E SQL-2289(39826) ORA-02289: sequence does not exist COR 7700659 E Failed to get value from Sequence "ITEM_TYPE_14146038_SEQ" for Item Type "QLARIUS:DOC". COR0005341E Error: Failed to generate an Item Id of type DOC
CMS-XML KM-Dim7: '2217 - Error: Item Type DOC does not exist' when adding an item in Inet
Dimensions Inet does not look at the Process Modeler file format settings but reads it from IDE Setup settings for the Project Merge Tool. Therefore ensure that the item type is mapped to the appropriate file type under IDE Setup / PVCS Project Merge Tool.
