CMS-XML TT4ZMF: SER1000 - Invalid Sernet transmission protocol header length/S0C4 SERUSER+114C/CMN4018E conversion failed
Prior to z/OS 1.6 some single byte character set (SBCS) customers who are not currently using the unicode conversion environment for other products may have to explicitly create a conversion image and define conversions between the coded character set identifier (CCSID) 1208 (UTF-8) and the mainframe CCSIDs 00037 (default) and 1047 (generic EBCDIC). Further information regarding the unicode conversion environment can be found in the IBM publication 'z/OS support for Unicode(TM): Using Conversion Services'.
