CMS-XML Need to provide AT-TLS connection option in base ZMF Web Services
The only supported secure protocol option for use with the ZMF Client Pack products is currently IBM's AT-TLS offering. Implementation of this is largely transparent from a ZMF perspective. Once available it is simply a case of ticking a 'TLS' box on the Server definition within ZDD or ZMF4ECL to enable AT-TLS connections.

CMS-XML Are Serena products affected by the OpenSSL Heartbleed Bug?
In response to the security flaw found in OpenSSL, known as the Heartbleed Bug (CVE-2014-0160), Serena has analyzed our software to determine if any are vulnerable to this bug. CMS-XML Potential userid regression if incorrect password entered once
If a user has ZMF package components checked out to a project/personal development library, they can use the ‘ChangeMan ZMF Checkin...’ option from the z/OS Projects perspective. If the user has also not already logged onto the ZMF system from the Serena perspective they will be prompted for their connection details. If the user types in the incorrect password at this point the initial checkin request fails but the password is stored somewhere that cannot be reset in this perspective.
CMS-XML Enable TAG not being honoured when set to N
Go into RDz and select Window\Preferences\ZMF/Eclipse and then go into TRACE. Enable all options, then log off the ZMF connection in RDZ and re-connect again. When connecting to the ZMF instance you will informed of any validation errors. NB : Once you have identified all the XML errors and resolved them, then please disable the TRACE's.
